How to unstuck yourself.

Feeling stuck is a common challenge that many of us face at some point in our lives. We get this feeling when we think we should be something we are not. When we think life should be different than it is. These feelings can be triggered by a lot of things. Whether it's in our personal relationships, work life, or creative endeavors etc. 

One thing I have learnt is to sit with my thoughts and try to firstly understand what could be the source. It is so easy to want to prove that things are okay by suppressing our feelings, fill our calendar with lots of things and being busy until these feelings go away. I find that this tends to pull me deeper and deeper into that state.

The feelings never really go away until we figure out what they are signaling to us. Taking the time to understand what has not been working and what things we need to change. Being honest, first with ourselves that we are not happy with this aspect of our lives and start moving towards making the change.The hard part is when you have figured out this is not for me anymore and this is the direction I should be heading but you begin to second guess yourself. The “what-ifs' '. “What if it doesn't work out?” “What if I struggle in the new environment?” “ What if my friends or family do not approve of this ONE thing I want to pursue?”

Here are some strategies you can use to help you get unstuck and move forward:

1.Reflect on Your Current Situation: The first step to becoming unstuck is to take a step back and reflect on your current situation. Ask yourself why you're feeling stuck and what factors might be contributing to this roadblock.

2.Be clear about what it is you desire: Clarity is key when it comes to getting unstuck. Figure out what kind of life you desire for yourself ,what a good financial state looks like for you, what kind of relationships do you have and what does growth look like for you. .

3.Embrace Change and Take Action:  Breaking free from a state of stuckness often requires stepping out of your comfort zone and embracing change. Be willing to try new approaches, explore different perspectives, and take calculated risks. Remember that progress is not always linear – setbacks and challenges are a natural part in the journey to pursuing your dream life.

Feeling stuck is normal and many people feel like that from time to time. Figure out what is it you are missing and take action towards it.The truth is, you feeling stuck is not a reflection of your whole life. Yes, one part of your life might not be going the way you want but you are not completely stuck,not in every area of our lives. Instead, realize the parts of your life that are going well and see if there are things you do there that you can apply in the other. Draw strength from that and soon you’ll gain momentum to change things in the other areas that give you a feeling of being stuck.
